Good book, about as simple as a subject like this can be made in a book. I had very little experience in air conditioning and rebuilt my system using this book. Good reference also.

I’ve always wanted to know more about my cars air system. Why those guys charge so much, which is why I always believed air systems were complicated. Not so, it’s all about refrigerants and the cost of their disposal. This book is prefect for someone interested in auto A/C, easy read, easy to follow. You could probably pick up a library book with updated info but for the price of some of these Amazon book, you can’t beat owning them.

I am a certified mechanic studying for the ASE air conditioning tests S7 and A7 and have found this book to be full of good information. I have read through some of the Motor AgeA7 Heating & A/C: The Motor Age Training Self-Study Guide for ASE Certification study guides and have found them to be severely lacking in detail. This book gives a complete overview of a/c systems and would be a great addition to your library.
