I was hoping it would go a little deeper into the technical side (i.e. the ‘WHY’ a team put this item or that…rather than just for aerodynamic reasons).

But it went into the major changes, rules behind them and effect it had on the races.

Highly recommend this book for F1 fans.

Giorgio Piola does an amazing job following the aero trends from race to race. I like how he even includes many of the reasons for developments, even if they are reverse-engineered. I couldn't give it 5 stars though because I was expecting it to have descriptions of more mechanical developments.
